Worship with the Sanctuary Boston – October 1 at First Parish Cambridge

Author James Baldwin once said, “Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced.” In this season of new beginnings, as the Jewish High Holy Days are upon us and we stand at the start of a new chapter of our time together as The Sanctuary Boston, let’s take some time to turn inward. Jo will reflect on the spiritual practice of cheshbon ha’nefesh, accounting of the soul, and she’ll invite us to check in with ourselves, taking stock of our past year and our interactions with others, and to return to our truest and best selves.

Gather at 6 p.m. for snacks in the Barn Room at First Parish Cambridge, with worship beginning at 6:15 p.m. Dinner to follow!

First Parish Cambridge is wheelchair accessible, and the Barn Room can be reached via elevator. Please email us at thesanctuaryboston [at] gmail [dot] com to request specific accommodations. And if you’ve got dietary restrictions you’d like us to know about as we prepare dinner, please add your name to our communal spreadsheet here:http://thesanctuaryboston.org/about/accessibility/
